Same place ours are. I was an American citizen born abroad and lost my birth certificate packet about 40 years ago. I wrote the Reagan state department and had a birth certificate in short order. It is my experience that birth records are on file at county clerks offices of the county where the birth occurred as well.

You know Marv, they have a marvelous invention now these democrats should know about--- it's called a safety deposit box. I keep all my important papers there.

If I need a car title, birth certificate, any important document like that, I always know right where to find it.
