Most OK with TSA full-body scanners
In the poll, 78% of respondents said they approved of using the scanners, and 67% said they are comfortable being examined by one. Eighty-four percent said the machines would help stop terrorists from carrying explosives onto airplanes. The survey was taken Jan. 5-6 of 542 adults who have flown at least twice in the past year.

Yet at the same time I find this:
The Department of Homeland SecurityÂ’s Office of Inspector General conducted a nine-month audit of TSA training that included visits to eight major airports and interviews with 385 screeners and supervisors. It found instances of screeners being told by managers to sign off on completing training they never took, screeners trying to go through recurrent training in break rooms with co-workers chatting, and screeners training with images from old X-ray machines after upgraded machines with different displays were already in use.

But we still need better security than the pre 9-11 type.
