There are blocks and blocks of city with busted and broken sidewalks and concrete, walls covered all over in hateful graffiti, a police dept. with dozens of expensive police cruisers badly damaged or ruined, boarded up businesses--- many which won't be reopening but will be leaving the city, services leaving the city, and the taste of the memory of how again Bass and Newsom handled or did not handle the situation.

And over what? It turns out that the initial group so protested were really being captured for violent crimes committed and not even about immigration at all.
