He just threw all those people who saw him in person and then marched over to the Capital under the bus. He completely undercut every wingnut on this board's argument about the patriotism of those "protesters".
What was the reason?
1. He wanted to not be kicked out of office 2 weeks early?
2. Retaining some sort of semblance of a legacy?
