Trump nominated Nikki Haley for Ambassador to the UN and the residents of Whiner World talked about how Trump put aside Haley's Trump trashing during the campaign to nominate her. But, in doing this, Trump put one of his main supporters in the Governorship. This is what he wanted.
So, he put a person with no foreign policy experience in a cabinet post just to get this guy as Gov of SC.

Ivanka sits in with meetings with Japan leaders.
Trump lobbied a Brit government official to block windmills off the coast of his golf course.
