My hunch:
Now that Trump has won, Alito and Thomas will arrange cert for one or all of them, to settle the issue before they retire at the end of this, or next, term.

Just a hunch - we'll find out by the end of the month.

Exactly , a 50 year old beater UZi ( that would set you back 60 euro in Amman or Beirut ) costs 8500.00$ to 9k $ in the US ( and that does not include the Class 3 NFA fees and Tax Stamp cost & wait after a BGC that is more anal than a California CCW process .
