A bit of a serious not serious, funny, not funny moment. One of the Aussie Ambassadors who said some negative things about Trump (I vaguely remember as their PM was under some heat and accused of hurting relations). Anyways, here is the clip:

Trump likes to do the follow up comment, instead of just "I don't like you either", he has to solidify the comment with, "and I probably never will".

Trumps comment was dual purposed, to add levity but also to get a viral moment while showing his usual boldness. I honestly think Trump would be very easy to get along with which is what makes him a bit of an enigma for career government employees or low performers.

Honorable people who have met Trump personally one on one usually do like him. Those who know him well generally love him.

It's hard to decide whether his brutal and entirely transparent honesty about his feelings about somebody or something at any given time is refreshing or irritating. I often think some of his comments are quite unhelpful, but the results more often than not turn out in his favor. I have learned that he plays the media like a fiddle, easily encouraging it to have egg on its face, look foolish, and/or look like the dishonest propaganda machine that it too often is.

And he is quite forgiving. He can have really harsh words for somebody and express his contempt or displeasure quite vocally at one time, but later on find common ground with the same person and be quite conciliatory and complimentary. He was really tough on Marco Rubio in previous campaigns for instance but now Marco is his trusted Secretary of State. The verbal feud between him and Ted Cruz was widely publicized, but the two are now the best of friends and mutually supportive for the most part now even if they sometimes don't fully agree on an issue.
