Only 41.5% approve of Trump's handling of the economy. 55.3% disapprove.
His promise to end inflation earns him 38% approval / 60% disapproval.

Trump’s advisers are counseling him to refine his economic message with a pitch to voters aimed at easing their anxiety about weak jobs growth and stubborn inflation.
Their new mantra: "Just wait until next year!"

Economy? Really? Seems that it's moving his way.

Inflation? Yeah, there is work to be done, some things are up
others are down.

Where was your disgust when Joe was running the country
with 9% inflation and a manipulated jobs market?
I know, I know, that was different.

Obligatory diversion to days of yore noted.

There is no refuge in bygone days, nor in "Mañana!"

Seems I was upfront on your OP, and what I thought.
If you didn't want the discussion, you should have asked
for your thread to be closed. :eusa_whistle:

I just expounded on the transparency of your utter bias.

Washington DC, September 26, 2025 – Americans trust the Republican Party over the Democratic Party to better handle issues like the economy, immigration and crime, according to a new Washington Post/Ipsos poll. And when it comes to the parties’ ideological positions, 54% describe the Democratic Party as “too liberal,” compared with a somewhat smaller share (49%) who describe the views of the Republican Party as “too conservative.”
  • Within the party coalitions, Democrats are more likely to express dissatisfaction with their own party’s positions than Republicans. Among Republicans, 80% describe their own party’s positions as about right, compared with a smaller share of Democrats (62%) who say the same about their own party.
  • On a set of key issues, the GOP holds an edge over the Democratic Party. On the economy, 39% trust Republicans to do a better job compared to 32% who trust Democrats more. On immigration, Republicans hold a 42% to 29% edge. The issue gap is widest on crime, where 44% say they trust Republicans compared to 22% who say they trust Democrats.

No Material job growth for three months straight. Thats Stagflation. Next up RECESSION! FUN!

You've been looking at your 8-Ball for several months predicting a recession.
In fact we were to have a recession by September if I remember your prediction properly.
One will eventually come, but not now, and not in the foreseeable future according to most
economists. :dunno:

Pointing elsewhere does not impact the popular consensus that Trump' handling of the economy and inflation stink.

Only morons think that illegal aliens losing their jobs in droves is hurting the US economy. It's strengthening the **** out of our economy.

The Democratic party of slavery is pissed because having poor brown Mexicans mow their, lawn, do their laundry, cook their food etc, makes them feel so ******* superior to them.

The economy is doing better than what you and your tent will admit to.
It gives your media some meat to work with when there isn't any.
If you have credible figures that contradict the cited Real Clear Politics consensus that Trump stinks in his handling of the economy and inflation, please provide a link to your source.

Yes, you are feeling it: 22 states are officially in a recession — is yours on the list?

America saw ‘essentially no job growth’ last month, Moody’s warns

Bogus.....Government jobs are in decline, by design, we have a bloated government.
That IS a good thing that we are reducing the payroll in non essential jobs. Trump is trying to get the government back
to the pre covid numbers, he still has about 3 trillion to go.
As far as a recession, you can squirm and lose sleep all you want, not sure where the recession is in 22
states, this is the only article that touts that news.

You rely on Polls as fact???? :auiqs.jpg:

I do not dismiss legitimate, corroborative surveys and substitute my personal opinion whenever I don't like the results.

It was ignorant idiocy to believe Trump would ‘end’ inflation, such is the stupidity of the American people; indeed, presidents have little or no immediate effect on inflation, or any other economic condition.

Otherwise, Trump has only himself to blame for claiming he could end inflation.

The wealth chasm continues to expand, and the wealthy are keeping the economy afloat. The average American is not seeing improvement in prices or home affordability.

So far, it's going exactly as was predicted: The lives of the wealthiest are continuing to improve, and the rest of the country flounders. Hiring has stalled, and part of that is that American business is having to re-direct capital from hiring to dealing with increased costs of doing business. Like tariffs.

Trump didn't start this trend, but he sure as hell is supporting and exacerbating it. Meanwhile, the useful idiots have to substitute "owning da libz" for actual improvements in their lives.

No surprises so far: Nearly 70% of Americans think the economy is on the ‘wrong track’ and even more think it’s a bad time to buy a home, Fannie Mae survey shows
