Is this the art of the deal ? Is it even a deal when it is imposed like this ?
This episode is emblematic of the bovine approach being taken to international relations.
As with all his previous blunders we can expect numerous revisions to his blanket diktats.
Of course he could have avoided this mess by sitting down with coubtries over a period of time andworking hard to reach agreements.
But that wouldnt have garnered headlines. Or made him look like a tough guy.
But now the chaos is set to continue and trumpy has another headline and that is what matters,

I know for sure that Canada really hurt thrmselves, Ontaeio is essentiwlly bankrupt. I did my best to assist, but some people operate as if it's 1955 and they refuse to change. Thus, the tariffs begin. The British were wise to make a deal early, their economy cannot handle pressure, nor can many in the EU

This is like an unsupervised child left alone in a toy store, who is having a never ending tantrum.

What the child needs is to be slapped across the face, but what the child gets is never ending praise and adoration.
Yep, not everyone wants to be a sit-on-your-ass Democrat farting rainbows.

What the hell do you care? If you collect pensions and benefits from any entity, for the most part, Trump is helping you to continue. Face it. The first world gets a lot of slave labor products.

We are the all-powerful United States of America. They will bend to our will because Americans are awesome AND we all have really big dicks. We are the alphas of the world. Now take your tariffs and stay silent, so as not to anger us.

It's the only thing he knows. Ask him to behave like an intelligent, dignified statesman, and he wouldn't know what you were talking about.

It is what it is. America, 2025.

Stellar!

It's not like he's negotiated peace deals between India/Pakistan, the Middle East and Ukraine and Russia, roght?

Trump proved this week how to be an America President and not some self-centered puppet who can't run a Baskin Robbins without help from his staffers and a media conglomerate willing to cover up for him.

You mean like Biden or Kamala? Hell, 90% of the time they didn't know what they were talking about.

Why would you manage anything in this slapdash way ? Why impose the chaos when you have no way of managing it and not enough people anyway.
Ive seen articles suggesting that the whole exercise is market manipulation on a grand scale. I tend to believe that now. The whole presidency is a grift for the oligarchs.

Trumps base is relatively stupid as well. Check out the responses on here.

I'm seeing various tidbits from people in the financial industry that there have been some very interesting large block purchases of stocks and call options right before some important announcements were made. Including people in the administration.

Normally I would say "we'll see" and wait for the SEC to investigate, but right now I don't know if they'd be allowed to.

This is uncharted territory. It's still a little difficult to believe that this has happened here, but we asked for it. Maybe this is what a lot of Americans really are.
