Trump says he will sue BBC for at least $1bn over Panorama edit

The US president confirmed he intends to sue the broadcaster for at least $1bn over the Panorama edit of a 2021 speech.

1) He can't sue the BBC in the UK because he needed to start the process within a year of the program broadcasting which happened in October last year.
2) He could sue in Florida, because there's a two year limitation, but the program didn't broadcast in Florida, so Florida doesn't have jurisdiction. Nor anywhere else in the US.
3) Trump would have to prove that the program made people's image of him change. Doubtful, there's so much stuff written about him, spoken about him, that he doesn't like.
