Its just a song and it has a positive message, even religious. Any associarion with the ga community is due to society. I was once driving by a street where a Toronto cop was standing around scratching his ass helping protect some construction workers who were wearing such vests. At that same time a guy on a motorbike rolled up to the intersection. I was going to roll down my window and do the YMCA sign to the cop but I thought, "meh, my luck he would be a tyrant without a sense of humour".
