This is exactly the difference in the two parties. Both parties want more border patrol agents but the right want more to stop illegals from crossing while Democrats want more to help process these people into the country faster.

Stop and think about it. Processing no later than 30 days upon entry. In 30 days, they will either be granted legal status or put on the fastest transport back to their country of origin. Right now, if they can get it done in 2 years that's considered speedy. But some have gone for 7 years. That means, fewer people will be backlogged. And fewer will have the opportunity to make the mad dash.

Actually, the Senate Supplemental was killed in committee by both the Reps and Dems. And it was trying to use the funds for Ukraine and Israel to force border doctrine. It failed when the Funds for Israel and Ukraine was done separate like it should have been. This was NOT approved by Biden. He was against it from day 1.

And Biden did not support it. You are right, it's a bandaid. The one that was originally proposed by the House is what is needed. But it needs to be mulled over by the house, senate and President to come up with a comprehensive bill. I don't see that happening because the Orange Cheeto will threaten his pet money in the House and it won't come to fruition.

It was working. It will work again, to any country they want.

It is against the 2006 laws passed by the Bush Time Period. You can't send children back to Mexico when they are here unassisted and from Costa Rico or Haiti or......... It was found that it was too constrictive. This is why they need to be sent back to their country of origin. And we need to adhere to the proposed 30 day max for complying with the Immigration Courts. That is just one of the fixes. Your idea (meaning tRump) is just mean and children pay the price. This is why the courts have decided not to even bother reading anything that tries to bring the tRump border doctrine.

It takes years because Biden left the border open. He completely fucked this country because, by law, foreigners on American soil are entitled to due process. The ****** should be impeached for being a traitor for allowing an invasion. Our immigration laws presume a sealed border with only some aliens coming through points of entry.

I posted a graph showing year by year comparison. It turns out that tRump is batting less than 50% while Biden is just over 50%. The number of incoming is about the same as the last 2 years of tRump. Both of them operated with both hands tied behind their backs because Congress refuses to do their friggin job. Place the blame on those that are causing this and that would be the tRump Monkey sitting in the Speaker of the House, regardless of who it is. The Congress has the power to fix this. They just won't because they are putting Party over Country.
