On Sunday, President Trump reiterated his position that American children don't need so many dolls or pencils, and in that spirit, promised to have no more than two $400 million dollar jets. More or less. At any given time.
"I don't think that an American billionaire president needs to have thirty $400 million dollar jets," Trump told "Meet the Press" host Kristen Welker. "I think he can have two jets tops. Or maybe three, four or five $400 million dollar jets. But any more than that would be too much. Unless Jeff Bezos or Elon Musk had thirty jets and he needed to have the same number just to keep up."
Trump then praised his tariffs and flew off in 30 mostly empty Boeing 747 jets to Mar-A-Largo in tight formation.
