Trump promised mass deportations. Educators worry fear will keep immigrants' kids from school

Immigrant's children are destroying our classrooms. They can't speak English. The rest of the students sit there while the teachers try to get through to children that shouldn't be in their classrooms. It is dumbing them all down.
Let's not pretend that all those military age male illegals brought their kids along with them. They did not.

each and every one of you MORANS that voted for Trump should be ashamed of yourselves.

80% of all trespassing criminals are single males between ages 18-40

so much for a "public education" Absolutely pitiful. Well you stay out of school, less chance if being splattered all over the wall by some gun I suppose?

Last time Donald Trump was president, rumors of immigration raids terrorized the Oregon community where Gustavo Balderas was the school superintendent.

Word spread that immigration agents were going to try to enter schools. There was no truth to it, but school staff members had to find students who were avoiding school and coax them back to class.

“People just started ducking and hiding,” Balderas said.

When we had sensible immigration laws, new immigrants were expected to be self sufficient and take are of their own kids including seeing that they learned enough English they would be able to learn in a public school classroom and not interfere with the education of the English speaking students. The taxpayer was not required to foot the bill for the immigrant children to prepare themselves for public school.

It takes the average adult most or all of a year or so to become fluent in a second language. Children seem to be able to pick up language more quickly and can usually master a language enough to get by in six months or less. My own four year old was enrolled in an upscale pre school during our four months living in Amarillo TX. The students were regularly taught Spanish every day and she was speaking a LOT of Spanish, enough to carry on a conversation with a Spanish speaking person, before we moved on to the next town. And her English was fine too.

Migrants who come here illegally should not receive more than immediately necessary humanitarian benefits--food, water, emergency healthcare--before being returned home.

ICE could find them if they looked.Turn illegal enforcement and education back to the states and stop taking their state tax money and you will see a dramatic improvement in education and quality of life.

The educators are worried that Trump will return the Dept. of Education back to the states where it belongs.
Thus, dismantling the indoctrination camps.
The indoctrination camps are being run by the individual school districts. Neither the federal government nor states usually have anything to do with CRT and DEI. A few solid blue states might, but returning the power to the states will have zero impact.

Dumbass:

It’s not about race or ethnicity. It’s about too many languages spoken in the classroom.
Politicians would rather pander than address it. Connecticut Gov. Ned Lamont says, “From the bottom of my heart, I want to make sure this is the most welcoming state in the country.” Yet state education statistics show that the more “high-needs” kids in the class, including non-English-speaking students, the lower the reading and math scores for the others.

The current system is lose-lose, hurting migrant kids as well.

Libs weren't the slightest bit concerned when the fascist regime of Biden and Fauci shut down schools for two years but they worry that Venezuelan and Mexican born illegal aliens won't get a education? WTF?``````

Illegals shouldn't be going to our schools because they shouldn't be here.

We are not the public relation agency nor Red Cross for the planet

One of my best buddies in the Navy's last name was Moran.
And I have a LOT of relatives with Spanish last names. That is irrelevant to this discussion however. Every last one of those with Spanish last names including those of Spanish/Mexican heritage they married--except the two that are raving leftist nutjobs--want the illegals out of here. Immigrants should apply for admission to the USA and those who can be pretty much immediately self supporting and add to a healthy, stable, productive America are the ones who should be accepted. No more lottery. And no more migrants bypassing the established immigration laws to come into the country illegally.

Sez you, I disagree with your premise.

Why would immigrants fear deportation?
