President Trump on Monday pardoned a trail runner who took a brief detour on a prohibited trail while attempting to break a record running up and down the tallest peak in the Teton Range of Wyoming.

Michelino Sunseri, 33, ran up and down the 13,775-foot-tall Grand Teton peak on Sept. 2, 2024, in a record-shattering 2 hours, 50 minutes, 50 seconds.

On his way down, Sunseri used a shortcut to avoid casual hikers, but going off-trail in a national park is prohibited due to concerns of erosion.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.

Yeah, he should have stayed on the trail (these types often think the rules don't apply to them) but to prosecute someone for that is beyond the pale.

"Mah Erosion" indeed.....Good pardon.

Michelino Sunseri should have got a permit to run off the trails to attempt record.

Now the Niggs will keep walking & playing in the streets & never stay on the sidewalks or crosswalks.

He also pardoned a poor diesel mechanic who was sent to federal prison for 7 months for tweaking and removing emissions systems on ailing engines, just to keep them running and in business.

Poor Diesel Mechanic? :auiqs.jpg:

Those Diesel Tuners were making millions in their little shops DPF deleting. They knew up front that tampering with the emission system was an automatic $20,000 fine per vehicle! I had many people offer to pay me to do that & I turned them all away. It was very, very hard watching other shops around me making a million dollars on people I turned away. Now it looks like they will all walk away with a slap on the wrist. Why should anyone ever not take money to brake the law again?

Heck I was at a stoplight in Wyoming beside a huge Semi-Truck loaded with cattle. My little GMC 1500 pick-up had 355hp & I was ready to floor it when the light turned green to pass that stinky crap dripping cattle hauler before I got stuck behind it for 50 miles on 2 lane road. It was like a drag race & that 80,000-lb coal rolling loaded semi was beating me until we hit 80mph when I barely got around him. He had to have been tuned over 2,000hp and no emissions. Those cattle were all smashed against the rear shitting everywhere when he took off.

They are doing God's work....What, they should not be rewarded?

Illegal Diesel Tuner Troy Lake wasn't even in prison, he was hanging out at a Bar! Likely still has most of his cash from illegal activity.

Democrat administrations allowed (still do) riff raff drunks and junkies to take over once beautiful parks mostly on the west coast for years but they arrest an athlete for running down an alleged restricted trail. Perspective anyone?

Trump fired the national parks employees, so the homeless & junkies moved in.

Come on, these tents have clearly been there longer than a year. Barry Hussein and old Joe allowed the drunks and junkies and degenerates to squat on public land.
