What the United States is witnessing in 2025 is not just a president testing the system. It is a transformation of the presidency into a fully political institution. The president acts until political resistance becomes strong enough to stop him.

trump knows enforcement of court orders against his draconian moves are dependent on the political environment. To a tyrant like trump, that is no obstacle at all. He will run over laws and the Cinstitution until the political damage convinces repubs to say, "Enough is Enough."

The US is in trouble. Our president is a power hungry tyrant who will not let laws or courts stop him. The Dems are weak and don't seem to have an answer.

Actually, Trump is doing what Andrew Jackson did regarding the courts and their orders.

Yes, Andrew Jackson is historically known for refusing to comply with Supreme Court orders, specifically in the case of Worcester v. Georgia (1832). This refusal centered on the Supreme Court's ruling that the state of Georgia could not exert authority over Cherokee lands.

Elaboration:
  • Worcester v. Georgia:
This case involved the question of whether Georgia could apply its state laws to Cherokee lands, which were located within the state's borders but were considered Native American territory by the Cherokee Nation and the federal government. The Supreme Court ruled that Georgia's laws did not apply on Cherokee lands.

  • Jackson's Response:
President Jackson, along with Georgia, ignored the Supreme Court's decision. A popular, though possibly apocryphal, quote attributed to Jackson is, "John Marshall has made his decision; now let him enforce it.".

  • Consequences:
Jackson's refusal, combined with Georgia's defiance, led to the forced removal of the Cherokee Nation from their lands, an event known as the Trail of Tears.

  • Historical Significance:
Jackson's actions are seen as a significant example of presidential power potentially overriding judicial decisions, sparking debate about the balance of power between the executive and judicial branches.

  • Other Cases:
Jackson also refused to comply with the Supreme Court's ruling in Cherokee Nation v. Georgia (1831).

The question is does a District Court have the authority to issue a nationwide injunction against the President of the United States.

What we are witnessing are Dems trying to stop Trump via aggressive lawfare and hand picked District Judges.

Your side is the one breaking the rules, not us.
