Transparency from Trump is a huge boon. He should find a way to write into law the requirement for the sitting president to do a particular number of press conference and answer questions. If not, how the hell do you even know they are actually president?

I could just hear the screams from the democrats if Republicans passed a Law requiring a monthly 2-hr wide-ranging press conference.by the president. I'm sure they would restrict questions to be pre-screened, and attendees to also be pre-approved or they would pull their credentials.
No one asked what his favorite ice-cream flavor was? The Trump questions were all on serious topics.

The first question they all seem to ask is why hasn't he fixed everything yet.

Are you surprised? President Trump (as well as J.D. Vance) did the same sort of thing throughout the campaign; IMHO it's a big part of the reason that he won the election so resoundingly.

I don't know for sure, but I suspect both Trump and Vance set records for the number of long form interviews during a Presidential Campaign.
