I worked for a very successful landscaping company. The owner had his hand in other hustles, including selling boats. Most failed but the landscaping business continued to make big money. He even tried a salvage business (stripping metal out of buildings set to be demolished) to keep his crews working in the off season. When winter came, I just quit and went back to meat cutting.
