The Constitution states very plainly that habeas corpus can only be suspended during a rebellion or invasion.

The last rebellion was the Civil War, though a case could be made for January 6. But Trump wasn't about to suspend it for the people who were doing his bidding.

You hyper-partisan sheeple grasping at straws over minutiae like this (for what purpose only God knows) just demonstrate that you have no idea what leadership and the role of a Chief Executive are. e.g. Satya Nadella has no idea what the different classifications of LLMs are or how they differ from one another, so he hired a bunch of engineers to explain it to him if/when he needs to know.

Personally I think it's an upgrade to have a President that consistently knows what day it is and what planet he's on, versus the last vegetable that only had a 50-50 shot of getting either one of those answers correct at any given time.
