In a Republic, actually
Between his tariffs and his regressive ‘big, beautiful bill’, the president is wreaking havoc – and he never learns

‘With his usual threats, Donald Trump is trying to ward off the dire reality that he has created and is bearing down on him. He can clamp migrants in foreign gulags, coerce white-shoe law firms into becoming his pro bono serfs and try to simply erase the National Endowment for the Humanities, but he can’t rescind his harm to the economy. Trump can slash the National Weather Service, but he can’t stop the storm he’s whipped up. He’s shouting into the wind at his twister.

No matter how much he might lower his draconian tariffs after his 90-day breathing spell, the velocity of damage is just building. It’s not a mistake that can be rectified. There’s no do-over. It’s not a golf game at one of his clubs where he gets endless mulligans and is declared the champion. Nor does Trump really want to draw back completely from his tariffs as if he never had proudly displayed his “Liberation Day” idiot board.

When the Walmart CEO inevitably announced that prices would have to be raised as a result of Trump’s tariffs, Trump warned: “Between Walmart and China they should, as is said ‘EAT THE TARIFFS,’ and not charge valued customers ANYTHING. I’ll be watching, and so will your customers!”

Trump has falsely insisted that tariffs are levied on foreign importers. But Walmart demonstrated the indisputable fact that tariffs are price increases passed on to consumers. They are a tax. Trump is furious at the early indication of the renewed inflation and price rises that are coming. His natural response, of course, is an attempt at intimidation.’

There’s nothing ‘beautiful’ about Trump’s reprehensible legislation that will deny millions of Americans access to affordable healthcare, many of whom are children.

What economic mess??? prices are down for everything... jobs are being created... good jobs.. illegal migrants are being sent home... so I don't know what you are talking about...

But if you have employer sponsored healthcare, it's because of the tax code giving your employer the ability to deduct all the money from gross income.

Looks like someone got his marching orders from SJW Central Command.

Walmart cannot uncouple from china overnight

So some prices will rise at first

That was to be expected

But you can bet they are working on it as fast as they can

Why shouldn't they? You'd be screaming bloody murder if your ability to write off YOUR healthcare contributions was removed. SMFH, you might try engaging your brain before you start your hysterics. LOL, would you like it better if the gov't taxed YOU on your employer's contribution as income?

You really need to take off your head , rinse it under the tap and then screw it back on and hope you can then see straight .

What on earth do you imagine Deep State was more concerned about when they offered Trumpfy the job ?

Stick to the embroidery , Celia .
This is all too Messy for a simple girl like you .

How has this impacted your life? Who is complaining? We didn’t hear you complaining when grocery prices were 20-40 percent higher under Biden-Harris vs. Trump. We didn’t hear from you when gas prices were well above $3.00 national average under Biden-Harris.

Why should we listen to you now?

Your link is old.

A better metric is how American families lost $11,400 in buying power under Biden.

Americans need an extra $11,400 today just to afford the basics

Ain't it strange how uncalled for minimum wage increases just create inflation that eats all of the increases? LOL, complaints were that people on minimum wage before the increases qualified for welfare. Now, due to inflation, costs are up equal to the increases but those earning minimum wage no longer qualify for welfare. SMH. Careful what you wish for---you just may get it.

Going back to work after a pandemic, isn't creating jobs.

10-25 years from now the Stain of the Boards will have their little Karens' and Kens' trained to Chirp about DEM job growth under the corpse. They will be clipping snips from WSJ or NYT, forgetting to mention...
jobs returning from shutdown + GOVT jobs ain't real growth. Ignorant dishonest board Swine dey is.

Same way they do on DEBT. They lessen Obama debt where they used funny math on his stimulus BS to charge Yr1 $786B onto GWB tab. Probably 1000 examples where Deep state causes crisis during Trump/RWR/GWB years then takes credit for "fixing it" during DEM takeover. Back dating spending to charge onto previous. They use it 5 yrs later as they LIE 100% of the time.

$28T since Obama opened the floodgates on hundreds billions to Black farmers just as one example. $10B to Iran? $1T Green BS?

There are ways events as it is always cause and effect. Still Presidents can add to it or make it worst by implementing policy decisions.

President at the time always gets to take credit or get the blame

Comes with the job as it is an elected position

well anyway

that is the way it is.

Ronald Reagan repeatedly promised to “make America great again” during his 1980 presidential campaign. He, too, used it as slogan on campaign merchandise.

See how it works as Trump has used it also

Biden also lied about creating over 800,000 jobs and his job numbers always got redacted down.
