The Donald has a lot on his plate just being President of the US and Leader of the Free World.

But the RCC would really benefit from electing a devout Protestant like Trump as the Holy Father.

That would be truly unprecedented to bring in a non-Catholic for the top job, but it could be effective as he could clean house. Too many paedophiles, embezzlers and yes-men in Rome that need fired and Trump is good at doing that.

Appoint Elon Musk as Cardinal and set up the Apostolate for Religious Efficiency to put the fear of God into the Holy See. Also, give the Vatican City army, the Swiss Guard, AK47's, flamethrowers and other weapons that can provide more firepower.

I'm not sure how viable this plan is, but I think the Conclave could do worse that naming Donald J. Trump as Pope Spock the Great, who will rule by logic.

Quite humorous. Now this will catch the left wing media and they'll run
with it for the next week as Trump takes care of business for the US.

Why pollute this forum with such garbage?

Trump has not rid the MAGA or GOP from its pedophiliac problems.

He ain't Catholic.

He ain't Catholic.

That's what would really make his papacy so historic.

There has never been a non-Catholic pope before.

The Catholic Church has had married popes, but not this. It would give him the impartial point of view, along with top nuncios like Cardinal Musk to really clean house, as he wouldn't be tied down to dogma.

Last I checked the Orange Stain was NOT a Cardinal. You really need read on this shit.

You don't have to be a cardinal to be elected Pope and there have been non-cardinals elected to the position in the past.

But YOU have to be Catholic. 47 is a lapsed Protestant.

Until now , that has certainly been true.

But if the Cardinals think outside the block, and elect the first Non-Catholic pope, it could be a tremendous thing, I think eveyone can agree.

It would definitely be unprecedented, I'll give you that.

BTW, President Trump is a Devout Protestant, not a "lapsed" one at all.

It is the above alterreality nonsense that wastes all ofo ur time.

If Protestant Christian Denomination leaders could think outside the box, they could elect to (officially) re-join the Catholic Church. Then there would be no need for the Cardinals to elect a "Non-Catholic" Pope.

That would be both tremendous and unprecedented, do you agree?

they have all been trumps ... tremendous would be harris ... go cry a river.

How do you feel about Pope John Paul II in this picture?:

How do you feel about these timelines of events of Pope Francis?:

May 2007: Helps draft the final document of the fifth meeting of the Latin American bishops conference in Aparecida, Brazil, synthesizing what would eventually become his concerns as pope for the poor, Indigenous peoples and the environment and the need for a missionary church.

July 8, 2013: Makes first trip outside Rome to the Sicilian island of Lampedusa to meet with newly arrived migrants and denounces the “globalization of indifference” shown to would-be refugees

July 30, 2013: Declares “Who am I to judge?” when asked about a gay priest during a news conference, signaling a more welcoming stance toward LGBTQ+ community.

Nov. 26, 2013: Issues mission statement for his papacy in Evangelii Gaudium, (“The Joy of the Gospel”), denouncing the world financial system that excludes the poor and declaring the Eucharist is “not a prize for the perfect but a powerful medicine and nourishment for the weak.”

June 8, 2014: Hosts Israeli and Palestinian presidents for peace prayers in the Vatican gardens.

June 18, 2015: Issues his environmental manifesto “Laudato Si” (“Praised Be”), calling for a cultural revolution to correct the “structurally perverse” global economic system that exploits the poor and has turned Earth into “an immense pile of filth.”

July 10, 2015: Apologizes in Bolivia for the sins and crimes of the Catholic Church against Indigenous peoples during the colonial-era conquest of the Americas.

Sept. 24, 2015: Challenges Congress to rediscover America’s ideals by acting on climate change, immigration and poverty reduction in the first speech by a pope at the U.S. Capitol

Although no Pope is perfect - both Pope John Paul II and Pope Francis seemed to make efforts to "Keep the Sabbath Holy" (The Garden) as you like to state - do you agree?
