The first one said we should welcome them, the second one wants the illegals to become citizens.

The Republican was the only one to say the border should be secure and criticized illegal immigration.

That was done for years. Localities could not afford to hold illegals. They sought to have their costs covered and when they didn't get it, they said screw it.
