This presents a real dilemma for the left. Do they get a Trump passport to leave the country Trump is president of? Or, do they say, "No way" and stay in the country Trump is president of?

Just checked mine and it expired last June. I read that the ugly mug passports, if they make them, will only be available to those living in the Washington, DC area.

But then, I'm on a wrong streak lately.

Fairly or not, Rubio, who I really liked in 2016 and even hoped that Trump had chosen for V.P (though Vance has been a very strong choice); will not win in 2028 due to being more closely associated with the war in Iran then other candidates. Even I am surprised at just how unpopular it is with voters and I think far too many on here underestimate this contributor.

Rubio is viewed as being more in line with the old GOP Establishment. Vance is viewed as the newer MAGA, his debate in 2024 helped secure and even expand Trumps position in the polls, leading to his victory.

In fact, it was after Vance's debate with Walz (Trump fared better in debates against Hillary than he was against Harris IMO and was wise to not take the ABC bait forms final one) that I saw as the turning point in his campaign. Vance was able to soften Trumps image while still being ferociously MAGA, this was HUGE at that juncture.

Thus, Vance to me has the better chance in 2028 though the Dems are going to be in the stronger position as even the neo cons still in the party will try and help a Dem win in 2028 before they would help a Rubio or Vance win.

Liberals will have no choice but to have him on their passport, and can't do anything about it for 10 years.
