Triggers Well Maintained Broom.

  • We have an old saying that's been handed down by generations of road sweepers: 'Look after your broom...' - And your broom will look after you.
  • No Dave. It's just: 'Look after your broom'.
- Oh, that old saying!
)))

I've had the whole series saved on a hard drive for quite a while. Have had a computer crash since then and don't remember if I still got a copy. The series had no lower than waist body parts exposed, so I doubt Americans know anything about it. Funny stuff indeed, although you've got to be a brit to fully appreciate it. Half of the humor went by me for sure.

Yes some of it is quite local even for us who don't live in London but we still get it they sometimes used Cockney Rhyming slang.
