Is there one person on this board who watches this race? Today it begins in Lille, France.

I've been watching since before Lance raced in his first one. Right now there is a Slovenian rider named Tadej Pogacar who is the Tom Brady of cycling, the guy is dominating this race, and many other races. I heard yesterday he has 99 cycling victories since turning pro (stages and winning the overall race) which is incredible, as he is only in his early 20's.

I don't think anyone can beat him this year either, he really only has one competitor for the yellow jersey (Jonas Vingegaard) and he has not been racing that well up to this point. Pogacar has been racing well in the lead up.

In b4 he's blood doping too. It's kinda crazy how they figured out how to do that.
It's all natural and their own stuff. That some mad science, IMO.

I like watching the Tour, Giro and Vuelta. What I can’t stand is that these sports have moved to streaming services. The Giro can only be seen on Max, and the Tour on Peacock with an occasional stage on NBC. A pox on those damn streaming services.

100% agree. I pay $7.99 to watch the Tour, which is a pretty good bargain, as it is 21 stages. Now when NBC has a playoff game on Peacock, you pay $7.99 to watch 3 hours.

NBC is owned by Comcast, the most greedy corporation in America. They only get my money once every July.

I find this very helpful, not all stages are watchable, plus Peacock loads up commercials on all the taped episodes, which is all of them for me.

The watch score for a 1 rating is spot on. 7 and above are can't miss.

I usually watch the daily highlights on Youtube and sometimes post about it in the f'ing bicyclists thread

I'll watch on weekends when it's on cable TV.

One of my favorite Far Side cartoons is based on it.

Team Cofidis had their bikes stolen yesterday.
One of their riders caused the green jersey wearer, Jasper Phillipsen, who won stage 1, to crash out of the race today. They are having a really bad tour so far.
