Remember, "we need more money and resources so we.can do our jobs". Record budget and the just don't show up. TPS and Ontario police are all the same, "if one of our undercovers didnt manufacture the threat than we arent showng up". The like to have their Agent Provocateurs to be behind the crime so the can swoop in and save the day. No wonder our allies don't trust us.... https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto/911-delay-toronto-assault-1.7589052

A Toronto man who says he was the victim of a brutal assault last month says police and paramedics took over an hour to respond to multiple 911 calls, and in that time, another person was attacked.

Peter Henry told CBC Toronto he was beaten on June 25 in the stairwell of the alternative housing building where he lives and works as the property manager. He says the assailant was the guest of a tenant and appeared to be on drugs.

The attack left him with four broken ribs, a fractured shin bone and a dislocated shoulder, he says. He says he waited for police and paramedics for about 40 minutes before deciding to take a taxi to a nearby hospital.

Hubby and I honeymooned in Toronto in 1994. Back then the city was clean, safe, walkable, and recognizable as Canadian.

You would have to pay ME to go to Toronto now, and no small sum of money either. The only place in Canada I would consider visiting is PEI, of course because I was obsessed with Anne of Green Gables as a girl.

The police had to wait a while to allow the perp to leave the property. They certainly didn't want to go into a danger zone.

Non-profit housing. I wonder why it happened.
