How predictable, your remarks are another way of saying this:

"Trump promised to lower inflation so I voted for him. But if he doesn't lower inflation then frankly I don't care actually because we had like 8% inflation under Biden anyway, and for that reason I don't hold Trump accountable if he fails to lower it".

This is the way of the magat, arguing all kinds of crap to "prove" Trump is better yet refusing to even acknowledge reality when Trump fails, he can do no wrong in the eyes of magats and that's because their devotion is never based on rational factors but plain old idolatry and delusions about past grandeur.

How do you figure that a democrat voter doesn't care about inflation? They care as much as anyone and have every right to call out Trump if and when he causes prices to rise, a very good reason for NOT voting Trump was to avoid the inflation that he's going to directly cause.

If you care for facts (which I doubt) you'd understand that these higher than usual inflation (yes, that's right inflation is very rarely ever zero) figures are attributable to Covid and the Ukraine war, and effected many other nations too, it was a global phenomenon.

The US inflation over the past few years was only very indirectly attributable to Biden's administration, the US is part of a bigger global economy and doesn't and cannot control the world (if you want to control prices then become a communist because that's the bedrock of communism - state control of prices (rather than market control) - tariffs is a step in that direction).

But Trump is planning on tariffs and that's is a very direct way of increasing inflation so you are a dummy and you voted for a dummy.

The best way for some people to avoid failure is to deny when they are wrong, it's easy as that and magats are masters at it. Trump NEVER admits error or failure and to anyone with a brain more powerful than a bee, that's an alarm bell, a man who can't be trusted, a man who always has and always will blame others for problems and you losers lap it up like the intellectual weaklings you've all become.

It could well be that price increases will be immediate as people feel the need to stock up on goods ahead of the major tax increases, because we also know that businesses will recognize this and start raising prices significantly well before the new taxes take effect, because they can.

Lower energy prices? We get most of our reactor grade uranium from Russia and Canada, we import more crude oil from Canada than anywhere else followed by Mexico. Basically Trump wants to impose tariffs on some of countries that we import most from.

The cheaper stuff we get from China sells because people buy it, that's capitalism. Why pay 50 bucks for something made in the US when you can get an adequate alternative for 25 bucks from China, where wages are lower?

This is what Trumpanzees don't understand, people don't care enough about American workers to pay for the higher wages earned by US employees.

We have a standard of living in the US that has been falling for years, we are a heavily indebted nation, so many people rely on credit cards that charge insane interest and so their net take home is - in effect - less than in years gone by.

This is capitalism, so called "free market" economics. If you don't like it then what are you going to do about it? elect a billionaire as President?

Understand why people like Marx said what they did, and that is the main beneficiaries of capitalism are those who control the means of production - i.e. the wealthy. The rest of us don't get the same order or benefits, we are - to all intents and purpose - nothing but a source of labor at the behest of the very wealthy.

Wages have not kept up with profits, they could have, a decent government could have imposed this but it never did, Democrats and Republicans are more or less the same.
