Are you obsessed with time? Isaac Newton was, and found the God versus Earth time scales. Einstein was, and found the theory of relativity. Planck was, and found the quantum mechanical chances of event outcomes. And I am obsessed with it too. I am finding, that the only reason why the laws of physics are reliable, is that time itself is changing synchronously with the changes in the laws of physics themselves.

Here is an example. Imagine a car at night with high beam turned on. You can see that the headlights illuminate the road ahead. The light spreads and goes ahead in a straight line, as per the law of inertia. Now generate a different time reference for the light at some point a few yards in front of the car, near one side of the beam. The result will be that now you see the light beams change direction abruptly like a reflection in front of the new reference and turn into a new, second straight line segment from the point of the reflection towards the center of the added reference.

Although you can say too, that time itself is generated by the light itself, through its constant speed and wavelength. Would you say then, that the above mid air reflection is a result of switching time references in order to keep the speed of light a constant?

Your take?
