Connecticut cheerleaders want uniforms with more coverage

Earlier this year, cheerleaders in one Florida district had to get special permission to wear their skirts on game day, because the uniforms were too skimpy for a new dress code. In a fascinating twist, last week cheerleaders in Connecticut begged school officials to help make their uniforms less skimpy.

Who says bald isn't beautiful? Don't tell that to Megan M. and Crystal B., two Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders who agreed to have their heads shaved to benefit leukemia research during the Colts' 20-13 Sunday win over the Buffalo Bills at Indy's Lucas Oil Field. Of course, the fight to cure leukemia has been a major focus of this franchise since head coach Chuck Pagano was diagnosed with the disease in September.

Veteran Ravens Cheerleader Barred from Super Bowl | ABC News Blogs - Yahoo!

As the Baltimore Ravens gear up to take on the San Francisco 49ers in this year's Super Bowl, there is one team veteran who will not be making the trip to New Orleans.

Ravens cheerleader Courtney Lenz, 23, of Baltimore, Md., is a five-year veteran of the cheer squad, but she did not receive an invitation to attend the biggest game of her career.

Now fans have taken to the internet, launching an online petition to push the Ravens to let Lenz cheer at the Super Bowl.
