Well, even though old-school liberal Democrats have openly said that their party had gotten way too fringe and advocating for nonsense, they still vote with their party to show unity. The reason Republicans periodically suffer loses is because they "aren't" united when it comes to voting for bills put on the table. It's the RINO's that do need to be tossed out of the party if they can't stick with Republicans when it comes to voting on bills.
