This is outrageous! They would declare themselves completely above the law. Able to break any law, and get subpoenas quashed.
While the instant purpose is to protect the criminality of Schiff and Swalwell, who a grand jury believes gave classified information to the media, and to protect the illegtitimate J6 committee, it would allow complete lawlessness by any member of Congress, including retroactively.

There is a provision in the CR that requires House members to be advised by companies such as Google, X, etc., if they get a grand jury subpoena for records of members, and gives them the power to quash such subpoenas.
The provision includes language that it depended Ed or preempts and statute [sic], court rule or regulation to the contrary.
