The worst no-call of the NCAA tournament so far, elbow to the head no call or review.

I actually blame the Arizona coaches for not demanding a review. If you watch the 10 second video, Clifford glances at the Az player and then winds up and swings his elbow right into his face. Should have been at least a flagrant 1 foul if not ejection.

Arizona still won the game, so it isn't a big deal.

I guess expect for those who had a side bet that the non-call influenced.

The whole purpose of review is to stop dirty plays that the refs miss. He could have shattered Geronimo's eye socket or hit him in the temple with a shot like that.

I'm sure the offending player was asked about it, and reprimanded about it if the coach thinks it was intentional.

the byu wisconsin game was a joke. Even utah ute fans were saying byu was getting hosed.
WCC refs have always hated byu. BYU couldn't get out of that conference fast enough
Good thing Bama beat St. Maries. St Maries with WCC refs against byu would have really been a joke

In the byu wisconsin game a byu player did get ejected for hitting a player in the nuts

I saw the play, definitely flagrant 1 I didn't agree with the ejection. The difference between that play and Cliffords cheap shot was the BYU guy was trapped and was at least making a "basketball" move to free himself. Clifford glanced over, wound up and elbowed the guy in the face and then extended his arm calling for the ball which proves it was premeditated. He got away with another offensive foul later in the game as well. He's a crafty dirty player, prolly should have been ejected.

Did you watch the video? Do basketball players randomly raise up their elbow and swing at air? Clearly intentional, but like I say I blame the Az coaches for not demanding the review.
