China doesnt/isn't compromising that principle by not stopping their investment in their country's people, That's a major factor of socialism/communism that has been salvaged to blend in with their socially responsible capitalism.

Is America's brand of pure unregulated capitalism good for it's economy?
Yes! The rich get richer! That's the economy! The poor and middle class get shuffled out of the way.

But it threatens to bring the chickens home. And that's what we're witnessing now, on the brink of revolution due to the political divide.

They are desperately trying to become self sufficient —- internal consumerism and less reliant on being the production economy for others . They know the US collapse is imminent and are trying to insulate theirselves as far as possible .
