I agree with Tucker that America should be improved and upgraded, but that's mainly up to the states, cities, businesses, and individuals.

This is just an argument. A true debate presents facts and evidence.

This is the scripture in question.

Genesis 12:3
1Then the LORD said to Abram, “Leave your country, your kindred, and your father’s household, and go to the land I will show you.

2 will make you into a great nation,

and I will bless you;

I will make your name great,

so that you will be a blessing.

and curse those who curse you;

and all the families of the earth

will be blessed through you.”

Something of note here, there was no nation of Israel when God told Abraham this.

For those less theologically inclined, the name Israel was later given to Abraham's grandson Jacob who later had 12 sons, which later represented the 12 tribes of Israel.

22-23 Jacob got up in the middle of the night and took his wives, his eleven children, and everything he owned across to the other side of the Jabbok River for safety. 24 Afterwards, Jacob went back and spent the rest of the night alone.

Remember, only the Left refuses to debate and resorts to name calling because really that is all they have.

Depends on what you deem as "great" and what you deem as "global blessing"

For example, look how many Jews have won a Nobel Prize. They are a tiny minority, but seem to dominate the field.

Why?

And look at how Jews dominate the top levels in the socioeconomic categories around the world, including the US.

This is why they were targeted in Europe for centuries, and as some European countries expelled all Jews from their country, they then wondered why their economies collapsed for the most part.

Again, why? I thought oppressed people needed help from the government to be prosperous, but no, not the Jews who have been more persecuted throughout the ages than any other group of people.

Hitler would round up the Jews and take their gold and wealth and send them off to die. Of course, this sort of thing was done for centuries to the Jews in Europe at various times. You might even say that the Holocaust was a natural climax to it all in that regard. It was just pure coveting everything they had.

Of course, the Left looks at those with wealth as the "oppressors", (aside from the wealthy in their own political clown car circles whom they adore, that is, like George Soros who is also ironically with a Jewish background), but think about what the world would be like without prosperous wealthy people who build things and hire employees.

God cursed the Jews, to be hunted and killed, deprecated and dispossessed. Because of this they became a 'merchant' people engaging in trade. This also led to being an educated class. An old Jewish proverb states, "If you can't carry it in your head, you must carry it on your back."

Being more highly educated than the general population created financial advantages as well. Over the centuries this led to positions of power and influence in banking, trade, and even government. So, their ascension, status, and wealth are largely an outgrowth of the safest avenue of livelihood left to them, their ethnicity as Jews alone doesn't really account for it.
