I was just getting into Stephen King books as a kid back then.

I liked the made-for-tv miniseries versions better then the more well known movie versions, cause the miniseries stuck closer to the original books

The more recent Stand miniseries was, indeed, a piece of crap.

More ending the series with that weird bike scene, focusing on the one guy’s wife, who had hardly appeared at all

And I had to force myself to finish that one

Stephen King was a good writer (back in the day), but he doesn't do endings well, and never did.
