They’re not all slums anymore. Much of DC has been gentrified and the rowhouses, etc., run for well over a million. The navy yard is part of the baseball stadium revival and even AOC lives there. These are post-civil rights, fatherless neosegregationist ghetto trash venturing to wealthier areas to wreak havoc. And these ghetto trash are likely not poor either.
