True enough. But that doesn't dismiss the fact that the GOP, because of all the RINO's, are weak. Even when they have a majority, they still let the democrats kick their butts.

It is a POS bill, for sure. You'll get no argument from me on that. But the process of getting approved legally, for most is expensive and almost always denied.
If you live in Mexico, it costs $500 just to apply for a visa. If you have no criminal record (because you're a decent person) but also have no credit rating, college or a sponsor here in the USA, you're almost always denied. And you lose the $500.

There are very rare cases for true asylum, they shouldn't be coming here because they are poor, America has plenty of its own poor to worry about already. Not to mention the insane amount of debt we have, once that crashes, no one will want to come here, they will wish they had stayed where they were.
They can't SCAM seek asylum if we cap asylum at pre-SCAM levels. 98% of those claiming asylum are SCAMS, encouraged by Democrats as a means of doing an end run around immigration law. Dems know this, yet release them into our country knowing it will be years before they get an asylum hearing they won't even show up to.
