The Republicans (RINOs) are going to completely screw us again with the senate border bill

The new Bill was just released.

It's DOA in the House.

No one trusts democrats to control the border or they would be doing it now.

There's $20 billion in it for border security and the GOP rejects it. As bad as the bill is, the democrats are going to hammer on this point from now on.

Maybe it's true. That they're stalling until Trump take office.

BTW, I have no doubt that if Trump were president, the RINO's in the house would pass it, and he would sign it.

And then claim victory over the democrats.

This is just a cudgel the dems created in order to be able to beat the reps over the head with, they don't give a fuck about 'border security', they've all proven that over the last 20 years plus, and especially in the last 3.

True enough. But that doesn't dismiss the fact that the GOP, because of all the RINO's, are weak. Even when they have a majority, they still let the democrats kick their butts.

And that's not about to change as long as GOP voters continue to vote for the lesser of two evils and get RINO's elected.

You do not seem to understand the workings of a competitive marketplace

If one business hired cheap illegal labor that gives them an advantage that can make them more money

But when all the competitors have the same labor cost via cheap illegal alien workers they are all back to square one again

Its open border libs who are causing American workers to lose their jobs or work for much less
So your contention is that it’s not the fault of businesses that hire illegals because their competitors do it?

Jesus that’s some lame rationalization. Clearly you don’t actually want to deal with illegal immigration. You just want to scream about it

1. That "Border Security" $20b is just to process migrants faster. No deal.

2. The democrats and the MSM can hammer away. The GOP knows that voters want the border sealed ASAP.

3. NFW Trump would sign that "bi-partisan" border Bill that lets 5,000 migrants in a day. NFW.

Some immigration is for employment you stated. Most are not.

1. Process and RETURN on most cases

2. Apparently they want to do what Trump tells them to do. They certainly don’t want to fix the border issue

3. It does not let 5,000 in. It allows up to 5,000 to APPLY.
Most will be denied and processed quickly

1. Bullshit. Just more open borders.
2. HR-2 would fix the border. Seal it like TX is doing.
3. Bullshit. Just more open borders.

Some people who may or may not be especially knowledgeable have made some claims. You, being a far left imbecile, surely all that shit up upon command.

You have no clue on how stupid you always sound.
Now we know what's in the bill. It's exactly what we were told. No surprises.

Its' a good bipartisan bill that will reduce illegal immigration considerably.

Are you ready to admit that you're a flaming idiot or are you going to continue with babbling your nonsense?

He's caved on immigration before. He'd do it again. He'd just find a way to call it "winning." Like he did the bump stock ban and his Covid shot & Operation Warp Speed.

I completely agree, although I wouldn't call them weak, I'd call them complicit.

This pile of shit bill throws existing immigration requirements under the bus. If you want to come here legally there's a process and requirements, otherwise you don't get in. This pile of shit bill just fast tracks and legalizes and funds the ILLEGAL immigration Democrats have been encouraging.

There is no process for decent people who don't own property in Mexico or south America, and have almost nothing on their financial records. Those are almost always automatically rejected by immigration.

It is a POS bill, for sure. You'll get no argument from me on that. But the process of getting approved legally, for most is expensive and almost always denied.
If you live in Mexico, it costs $500 just to apply for a visa. If you have no criminal record (because you're a decent person) but also have no credit rating, college or a sponsor here in the USA, you're almost always denied. And you lose the $500.

There are very rare cases for true asylum, they shouldn't be coming here because they are poor, America has plenty of its own poor to worry about already. Not to mention the insane amount of debt we have, once that crashes, no one will want to come here, they will wish they had stayed where they were.

Of course they are rejected, we are not the dumping ground for the worlds poor. That's why you must have a job or means of supporting yourself if you want to become an American citizen.
I'm amazed by the faux concern for the poor. Why not open the flood gates to the whole world and let 2 billion of these dirt poor people in? No? Yeah I thought so.

Newsflash to Dem assholes, it's not my responsibility to work overtime to pay for the illegals food, housing, healthcare and put spending money in their pockets.

If I lived in a socialist shithole south American country, I'd be doing the same thing they're doing. Poor or not.

Throwing money at this problem or even building a wall, isn't going to stop people from coming here seeking asylum or going over, under or around the wall.
And until we get a government and a president that wants to address WHY they come here, this problem isn't going to get solved. It's always going to be nothing more than a stump speech by politicians.

10 years from now, if they don't address why they come here, the problem will still exist. Do you want a solution? Or just a excuse to vote for one party over the other?

Absolutely. So the solution is in our monetary policy. It's equalizing our currency closer to the peso, so that an illegal isn't making as much in 1 day here, as they're making in 2 weeks down there.

The way our currency is created out of thin air, there's no reason why $5hr isn't a lower middle class wage here. That's still leaps and bounds above what they're paying in Mexico and South America. I think the average wage down there is like $15 per day... Yes, per day, not hr.

If they corrected the USD value so that $5hr was equal to $20hr most Americans earn now, what would it matter to us? Providing that the cost of everything else went down to equal the same value.

Would you rather have $20 that paid for $20 worth of goods or $100 that paid for $20 worth of goods? For most people, it wouldn't matter 1 iota, as long as they could get $20 worth of goods.

But where it would matter the most would be corporations who have to outsource to countries like China and Mexico just to stay competitive in the market. Those jobs could come back to the USA. Hundreds of thousands of those jobs. Then immigration, legal or not, wouldn't even matter.

They can't SCAM seek asylum if we cap asylum at pre-SCAM levels. 98% of those claiming asylum are SCAMS, encouraged by Democrats as a means of doing an end run around immigration law. Dems know this, yet release them into our country knowing it will be years before they get an asylum hearing they won't even show up to. It's a Dem SCAM, they are betting that after having been here for years even though they never qualified for asylum in the first place that we will be forced into letting them stay.

Democrats are the biggest SCAM artists on the planet, f'ing traitors!
