I visited NYC once. For a poor boy from the country, it was like discovering that the porn channel was no longer scrambled. There was sex and booze 24/7, along with historical, cultural, and other other epiphanies. There was also a lot of foreigners. It was definitely a clash of cultures. It was fun, but I would never want to live there, all squeezed together on top of on another like rats in a hole. There are not many people in the world I would get THAT intimate with.
One of the things I did while in NYC, which was years ago, was to attend a Blue Man Group performance. This, among many other things, led me to ask, "What the F- is wrong with people in NYC?" Why not leave that shit hole and move somewhere it does not cost $3,500/mo. to rent a 10'x10' cardboard home? I would want to get away from all the people, the inflation, the crime and violence, leftist politics, and go somewhere with fresh air and peaceful surroundings. But, am I missing something?
If you check out the actual rats that are living in holes with 20 or more rodent brethren in a nest, THEY do not really seem to mind. This is because they are hive-minded creatures. Humans are creatures of habit. If all the know is living like rats, then they will continue to be perfectly happy living like rats, even in filth in excrement. They have little concept and understanding of the rest of the world.
I note here that while NYC may strike some as glamorous, enlightened, and all sort of other stuff, let's be clear about something. The denizens of NYC are largely ignorant dullards. I have walked among them. I have observed them. I have listened to them. These people are the easily manipulated by the leftist politicians who pull their strings with lies about climate doom, Nazis, "palestinian" GenoCidE! They are idiots.
I also note that the most racist people in the United States are in NYC. Us southern folk have the highest concentration of blacks. We dealt with them post-civil war, and integrated them into our society. Everyone has been well socialized and conditioned to accepting a white/black society in the south. But the northern states have never truly dealt with the race issue. They are race morons, totally ignorant. Then, in NYC, you have all of the immigrants from all over the world, and many of those people just plain do not like black people. It is irrational and totally racist, as is the hatred for Jews and anyone else because of mere ethnicity. I note this because it further supports my hypothesis that NYC residents are ignorant as hell.
What of their politics? I am not even going to go there. You all know what is going on in NYC. Only a totally ignorant and narcissistic people believes that Marxist ideology can be applied in a positive way that makes it "work" while if has failed in every other attempt in human history. They are ignorant of the past, with most believing that they history of the world began with their birth thanks to their absurd level narcissism. This is the result of NYC ignorance + nefarious external influence + youth. But, there is MORE!
NYC public education sucks. Again, there is no reason to explore this accusation. It is fact. Many folks who can afford it will send their children to private schools. However, because it is NYC and, therefore, heavily influenced by toxic leftist ideology, even the private school kids are being taught that men can have babies, it is ok for a 10 year old to date a 50 year old man, our atmosphere is "literally" on fire, Trump is a Hitler, and many other falsehoods that intellectually challenge the academia of the Dark Ages. Therefore, we know that the common NYC person is profoundly affected by (1) his/her ignorance; (2) poor education; (3) infantilized world view; and (4) toxic foreign influence. Thus, it is no wonder that they are about to elect a mayor who is a radical muslim, Jew-hating, America-hating, 33yr-old, gay-hating, communist scumbag. I don't blame Mamdani. Rats are going to do what rats do. I blame the gatekeepers and the voters for the letting the rat into the room.
Believe it or not, there are some good folk in NYC. When I say this keep in mind that I limit this to Staten Island. There are people there from all other the world. A great deal of them are good hard-working Americans with middle class values. But, there are rats everywhere in NYC, figuratively and literally. Remember, these are the people who have given us Chucky Schumer, Hakeem Jeffreys, AOC, Fat Jerry Nadler, Kathy "Creeping Death" Hoschul, and so forth. There has never been a more wretched hive of scum and villainy.
Finally, please indulge me on a matter that particularly irks me. I have the unenviable station that requires me to periodically deal with yankees transplanted into our beautiful and fertile land. When winter weather brings us snow and ice down here in the south, there is a constant and obnoxious claptrap from the yankees about how us southerners do not "know" how to drive in the snow, and how excited and "panicked" we become, as if the sky is falling. For the most part, I say nothing. Why bother? They then press on about how they used to have to dig their houses out of 100 ft. snow drifts a couple times a week during the winter. This bravado always strikes me as odd. I find it ironic that yankees can boast about surviving blizzards, but when the summer temperatures there top 85F they start dropping like flies. 90F and they literally start dying. Of course, many of them up there do not have air conditioning, which is stupid and ignorant in itself since having it will save their lives. Moreover, the lefties believe we are already burning up, so ...
NYC is a strange and fascinating place. It is quite cartoonish in most ways. Nothing is real there, except for the ignorance. It is both real and abundant. As I previously stated, it is this element of the local yokels that allows the Democrats to manipulate and influence them, conning them to approve and support all sorts of crazy bs. Personally, I subscribe to the Snake Plisskin vision of NYC and would like to see it walled off from the rest of the republic.
