The Pentagon Fails to Send Absentee Ballots to Active Military Service Members

2 Nov 2024 ~~ By Sarah Arnold

Republican lawmakers demand answers from the Pentagon after military service members complained that they have not received enough absentee ballots to vote before Election Day.
GOP Reps. Brian Mast (R-FL), Bill Huizenga (R-MI), and Mike Waltz (R-FL) sent a letter to Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin citing their “grave concern over deficiencies in the Defense Department’s protocols” for the U.S. military because they said the absentee ballot stockpile has been “depleted and had not been replenished.”
“Our nation’s brave men and women in uniform brought to our attention that there has been inadequate education at the administrative level on how to register to vote, request an absentee ballot, and fill in a federal write-in absentee ballot if their state-issued ballot does not arrive in time," the letter reads. “Other service members also stated that when a request for a federal write-in absentee ballot was made, they were told the base’s stockpile of such ballots was depleted and had not been replenished."

The incident comes after President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have refused to acknowledge that U.S. military members are serving overseas in combat. During a debate, Harris claimed that no active service members were on the battlefield.

Commentary:
Hmm..., The party that wants to save "Democracy" strikes again.
I was the unit’s voting NCO when I was stationed overseas in the Air Force and I was tasked to contact 100% of the unit’s personnel to aid them in filling out their request for an absentee ballot and give them the address of their state of record to mail the request in. This was done way in advance of the primary season and they would be able to vote in those and the general election as well. This was more than 50 years ago and the system worked then. Don’t know how it’s done now.
That same Pentagon where at least 18 officers signed an open letter saying Trump is “too dangerous” to put back in office. The same Pentagon that collectively turned against Trump because he wanted to end the war in Ukraine, vs to keep artificially extending it.

Usually the voters have to request ballots be sent to them. So this sounds like complete and utter bullshit. Given your thread history....it surprises no one.

But if they haven’t done so, there is a link below to follow.

Not to worry, someone from Honduras will vote on their behalf while they are fighting for America half a world.away

Democrats are doing that shit on purpose because they know the military overwhelmingly votes Republican.

If it's true and the U.S. Military is complicit in voter fraud somebody should go to jail. Trump will have his hands full.
