Hunter Biden was the family millstone around Joe Biden’s neck, the kind of chronic problem relative that plagues many political families. George H.W. Bush had his son Neil; Jimmy Carter had his brother Billy.

Still, when Joe Biden went to Ukraine, he was not trying to protect his son — quite the reverse.

The then-vice president issued his demands for greater anti-corruption measures by the Ukrainian government despite the possibility that those demands would actually increase – not lessen — the chances that Hunter Biden and Burisma would face legal trouble in Ukraine.

When it first was published, my 2015 story seemed to have little impact, other than to irritate Joe Biden and his staff. It ran inside the print edition of the Times, not on the front page.

The 2015 piece on Hunter was to warn Joe Biden that the company his son worked for was being investigated. What did old Joe do after that? He bribed them with $1.2 billion of our tax dollars to fire the prosecutor, and the investigation which would expose his son.

Which is a lie of course. Neither Hunter or Burisma were under investigation. Try again.

So I did some research. The link you posted and others contained in that article pretty much lays the truth out for all to see.

And is it possible when saying coke head Hunter Biden was never under investigation that you never heard of Joe Biden's bragging to the Council on Foreign Relations how he shut down a corruption investigation by threatening to have dad (Barack Obama) cut off aid to Ukraine if a prosecutor clamping down on corruption wasn't immediately terminated?

It's worse than that.
It takes all the attention away from Hunter Biden and how his dad Joe was using his position to set up junior in a cushy fake job he knows nothing about in order to focus on which Ukranian prosecutor was corrupt or not.

It's a total misdirect and the honest prosecutor who was investigating corruption at Burisma (the owner of which is now under investigation by the FBI) got fired when Joe Biden threatened to yank aid to Ukraine if that prosecutor was not fired
and the investigation stopped in a matter of a few hours.
Again, here is Joe proudly bragging about how he got this prosecutor removed.

I'm certain the people here defending Biden and swallowing all this bullshit aren't smart enough to see through the misdirection and they really don't want to know about it anyway.
All you need to know is why Hunter Biden got this make believe job and how Joe Biden
got a Ukrainian prosecutor fired when he tried to look into the scam.

Hunter Biden: The Most Comprehensive Timeline.

Late Summer 2006: Hunter Biden and his uncle, James Biden, purchase the hedge fund Paradigm Global Advisors. According to an unnamed executive quoted in Politico in August, James Biden declared to employees on his first day, “Don’t worry about investors. We’ve got people all around the world who want to invest in Joe Biden.” At this time, Joe Biden is months away from becoming chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and launching his second bid for president.​

The unnamed executive who spoke to Politico charged that the purchase of the fund was designed to work around campaign-finance laws:​

Up until that time, Hunter Biden had been employed as a consultant to the Delaware bank MBNA, with a $100,000-a-year retainer, according to the New York Times. The bank hired him fresh out of law school and in less than two years promoted him to senior vice president.​
