The Orginal Red Dawn (1984) coming on right now on AMC. Tune in to be reminded when Americans were badass and the Soviets were no match!

America reduced to guerrilla warfare by an invading army? How is that supposed to be badass? It represented a total failure of national defense. I always found it implausible.

It's brain candy. There is nothing in this movie that is remotely realistic. It isn't supposed to be.
reported, doxxed, tires flattened, door bell rang at midnight... ;)

Even the original wasn't that good of a movie. It gets the benefit of nostalgia because of the time it was released in. Communism, the Red scare, Reagan era posturing. It was a feel good movie that had no grounding in reality. As has been stated, it's good popcorn munching fair. Fun fact. Ron O'Neal, who played a Cuban general in the movie, also starred in A Force of One and Superfly.

Either one I guess...
Sorry, I was just pretending to be mad because you dissed Red Dawn, so I reported you, doxed you, flattened your tires, and rang your doorbell at midnight! (not really though). JGalt is much worse!

Ahh... I get it now.

Because your Commie bastards lost?
No. Because 98.34% of what Moon posts is just trolling threads. He will take on an opposing view no matter what the thread is about. It's what he does.
Which is unfortunate. On the rare occasion he makes a genuine post, it is usually pretty incisive.
