The board of Directors of the FOP is 5 people. The Executive board of the FOP is 7 people. Think of it like unions. The rank and file did not sign the letter, just the ones paid at the top. 101 people that took a stand and signed their name is more people than actually made the decision of the FOP.

And a bunch aren't same as many union workers, whose leadership endorsed a candidate no of their choice. Corporation leadership endorses who they endorse, contributing to who they contribute too, whether the stockholders, salary people and employees agree or not. The cops and the union rank and the people of many organizations rank and file will get to vote in November, same as the rest of us. Cheer up.
