I don't remember where I read it as a kid, but for most of my life I've always had this gut feeling that while we think our universe it too large to comprehend, what would it be like to discover that a tiny atom is also a universe of its own?
Sort of like that think in Men in Black II where an entire race lives in a locker and looks at one of the guys as their god.
