On the one hand, the existence of a regime that supports Bandera terrorism is unacceptable. This regime is de facto illegitimate, because native Ukrainians are ethnic Poles, and Bandera exterminated the Poles. Such a regime is anti-people and, by definition, cannot be legitimate.
On the other hand, Moscow's position is not entirely clear. Is it really fighting against Bandera fascism, or does it have other goals. Moscow's politics is mostly leftist, the propaganda is Eurocentric, the state is leaning towards centralization, so there is little difference from Biden. It is possible that this is a game of good and evil cop.
