To be honest, I'm afraid, very afraid. If Trump doesn't do well in the debate he will not recover and I have no confidence that he will do well. I'm saying that as someone who thinks the country is doomed if Harris wins. If Trump comes off as an asshole against women and minorities (whichever minority Harris happens to be in the debate) it will be over. In short, this is a debate where Trump can't be himself. He needs to act presidential for once in his life and he needs to articulate his policies vs her policies and I'm not so sure he can do that.
He’s actually been doing quite well of late, speaking much more calmly and presidentially - certainly more so than Harris. I would love for her to break into her nervous cackle!
