Just a few short days ago Biden said something like he was going to stay in the race unless The Lord Almighty sent him a message to get out. So, I've been thinking, since the Lord Almighty doesn't actually text or send emails and sends us messages in other ways that we need to interpret, was The Lord Almighty sending Biden a message through Trump's assassination attempt that Biden should bow out of the race?

The attempt on Trump's life has caused even the mainstream media to admit that there are bad people on both sides, that both sides need to tone down their rhetoric, Biden has had to pull his attack ads against Trump, and we also have Trump's bloody face making him look strong and more powerful than ever and the whole country has empathy for Trump right now, probably making Trump's election even more of a sure bet than it already was. Biden's main campaign strategy was to use violent rhetoric against MAGA Republicans and how Trump wants to take democracy away and now he may not be able to use that campaign strategy anymore.

We don't actually know this guy was a Republican. He was just registered as a Republican. We do know that his mother is a Democrat and that the shooter was on the blue team to some extent. He may have just registered as a Republican so that he could vote against Trump in the primary.

I long ago figured out that if I was smart to enough to know the mind of God and what he will and will not do, He wouldn't be much of a God. And since I'm not smart enough, I leave these kinds of things up to Him. The Bible tells us that God chooses some of the unlikeliest people to do great things for His purposes. Have the recent years been the consequences of a corrupt, depraved and evil generation? Is Trump the "Moses" God has chosen to lead the people out of the bondage the left has heaped upon us?

I don't know.

But I like to think that the bullet missing its mark yesterday was Divine Intervention. Trump has given God the credit and his thanks. And just in case I have offered up my thanks and praise as well.

I don't think the Lord is for either candidate. TBH, if anything, I think we get the government we deserve, and all of these corrupt fraudulent "leaders" are just a reflection of how far gone this country is from truth / God.
