They preach diversity, but only in the sense of identity, not opinion.
They have to count the number of genders, skin colors, or sexual preferences and make sure that the minorities are over-represented.
It's forced diversity, and it is is the wrong kind.
Do they ensure all religious beliefs or political affiliations are represented? Of course not.
The real value in diversity is getting multiple opinions, but the Left doesn't want that. They want a multi-colored group of people who are all Leftists.
Also, I'll note that diversity seems to be highly over-rated. As we see here in the US, it causes major conflicts which seem to inhibit progress. This can be contrasted with countries like Japan where there is a high standard of living, little crime, and some exemplary societal order.

It has at least 40% people of color, and 70% females.

It has 12% people of color, and 47% females, quite close to the actual population diversity.
You will find this disparity at most large corporations - their career page includes pictures which are much more diverse than their employees.
It's even true of companies which sell diversity training. This is the board of Franklin-Covey, a company which sells bias training to companies for big bucks...

When you sacrifice merit and qualifications for the sake of diversity, you are doomed to fail.
