What Trump actually said was that he was sure that Hillary's server had already been hacked and then said, "Russia, if you're listening, I hope you'll be able to find the 30,000 emails that are missing," Trump said, speaking about Hillary Clinton's deleted emails from her private email account from her time as secretary of state. "I think you'll probably be rewarded mightily by our press."

Clearly he was saying he thought they already had her e-mails and wanted them to produce them.
