Everyone always makes fun of the Russian GDP unaware of the fact that comparing it to the American GDP is like comparing apples and oranges.

Russia's GDP is built differently. It is nearly 100% manufacturing base GDP. The American GDP is about 70% fluff and 30% manufacturing. Yes it still larger but it's the difference between a marshmallow that's roughly 1 inch in diameter and an iron slug that's roughly one inch of diameter. They take up the same amount of volume but are vastly different in their makeup.

With American support and know how access to the Russian's vast mineral wealth could do several things. Raise the standard of living for the entire world very quickly, remove all motivations for military aggression, and open up a completely new era of innovation that might represent the next major step in the advancement of the human race.

I don't know why anybody would be against this. Though I'm sure I'm going to find out in the sub forum here.

Stopping the slaughter should be the ultimate goal. This isn't a game of chess or a pissing contest. This is the future of humanity we're talking about. There's no room for petty political puppets.

Good Morning Neville Chamberlain. I thought your appeasing ass had died in disgrace, back in 1940.

Good morning grim reaper....
Why do you want endless war and death?
There is a better way forward.

What a stupid OP. Russia’s GDP is half the size of California’s. I swear these Red MAGAs are Putin’s best ally.

Apples and oranges.... Opening up Russia's hydrocarbon market alone could unleash the total value of our GDP in just several years.

And that's just the hydrocarbons let alone the nearly 100 trillion in mineral Wealth.

Additionally this isn't about the California economy.... Reread the post title.... It would be a partnership between Russia and the United States. California has only a small fraction of the mineral wealth that Russia has. American know-how and technology being combined with the vast reserves available there would easily eclipse any economy on the planet.... Including China's.

But competition is not the point.... Realizing the full potential of our global wealth is the point... Ending an era of slaughter and ushering in an era of cooperation could actually raise the living standard of the entire planet.

Russia was wrong to invade, just as the UN voted resolution passed yesterday, saying so, 93 to 16, against the will of Russia and Trump. Trump's own Security Counsel resolution against Ukraine was watered down by changes in language, to the point USA abstained to vote for it's own resolution. The only supporters were totalitarian countries and those owing favor to Trump, a decidedly shrinking pot on the world stage. I agree with the majority of countries, Putin was flat wrong to invade Ukraine, in his attempt to take over that country, and that it is up to Ukraine to decide whether their freedom from control and foreign oppression and rule is worth fighting for. Luckily they have the support of Europe in their resistance to Russia's attempt to subjugate them to Moscow Rule. The present US stance supporting Russia over Ukraine in Russia's unlawful attack is SHAMEFUL, with the US being led by a Putin puppet head, probably still intent on a Trump Moscow project resurrection.
