The proposed name for a new law targeting any immigrants who attack a dog.
During a House committee meeting on Tuesday, Goldman proposed a name change for GOP legislation that aims to deport immigrants who have attacked dogs. He suggested changing the name of the bill to the “The Kristi Noem Canine Relief Act,” referring to Noem’s admission that she shot and killed her dog, Cricket.
“I really want to know how, if at all, it would apply to Cabinet members who have admitted that they have shot and killed a dog. Only at the ports of entry? Or is this just broadly against any assault on dogs? Because my understanding, if I’m reading the bill, is that this would apply to someone who kills a dog,” Goldman said.
The sad part here? This isn't satire.
